I'm a big fan of Google Pixels phones for everyday use, I think they provide a really good "bang for the buck". I like how you get the original Android experience with regular updates, battery life is really good. I used it as my main camera (I like taking pictures during holidays, but I travel very light, so carrying an extra camera is a no for me), and it worked out wonderfully so far for pictures, but the video capabilities are lacking.
